This project is financially supported by the french Agence Nationale de la Recherche (ANR) in the framework of theEnergie
durable & environnement/Programme de Recherche et d'Innovation dans les
Transports terrestres (PREDIT) programme. Project follow-up is under the responsibility
of ADEME.
Four
partners are in charge of the project research work:
- IFP Energies nouvelles has set-up and
coordinates the project. The R106 department is in charge of acquiring the
PFI and DI engine database, while the Engine CFD and System Simulation
department develops and validates LES methods;
- CERFACS' Computational Fluid
Dynamics (CFD) group develops and validates LES methods;
- PSA is in charge
of characterising a DI injector for the engine database, and develops
and validates a LES methodology for PFI engines based on CERFACS'
work, and explores its application to DI cases;
- REGIENOV, groupe Renault, develops and validates
a LES methodology for PFI engines based on IFP' work.
